Training of Trainer

Training of Trainers (ToT) is a program designed to provide international certification to those passionate individuals who wish to make an effective difference in the in the industry of their preference. The primary objective of ToT is to assess the trainers in the best standards and provide quality trainers to the global market. The secondary objective of our ToT program is to introduce the trainers to the changing space of training in the national & international arena. PSEB designed ToT assess the aspirants and provides two certifications as per their eligibility.

ToT (Basic) Certification

To get ToT (Basic) certified by PSEB as, the aspirant should meet the following eligibility criteria:-

Eligible Criteria

Should be a member of PSEB
Should be minimum graduate in any stream from a recognised university
Should possess excellent communication skills in English.
Must be a champion in his/her domain specific subject
Should have 2 years of experience in training & delivery or should have
Should have ability to deliver
Should be flexible & willing to travel within the country or abroad for training assignments

ToT (Advanced) Certification

Trainers certified by PSEB or any other recognised national/international body and who are willing to upgrade themselves have to appear for this test. The trainers who have completed minimum 6 months after the certification with PSEB or any other recognised national/international body are eligible to appear. This certification would give trainers more mileage in their pursuit for excellence in their field

Eligible Criteria

Should be a member of PSEB
Should have completed ToT (Basic) from PSEB or any other equivalence certification from national/international body. (PSEB reserves the right to decide upon accepting the certification body based on the reputation of the certification body in the global market)
Should have completed minimum 6 months from the date of certification with PSEB or any other national/international certification body.
Should be a graduate in any stream from a recognised university
Should possess excellent communication skills in English.
Must be a champion in his/her domain specific subject
Should have 3 years of experience in training & delivery or should have minimum 200 hours of training experience
Should have ability to deliver
Should be flexible & willing to travel within the country or abroad for training assignments

Procedure for booking exam for assessment certification for ToT

Log-in to www.psebun.org
Select TOT
Select ToT (Basic) or ToT (Advance) as per your eligibility
Fill up the details and pay the fee
Submit the application online
Appear in the test as per the date & time allotted
On intimation of your successful completion, attend certificate convocation and claim your certificate.

Exam Syllabus

The applications will be scrutinized as per the eligibility and also the expertise in the core domain. Assessment for ToTcertification will be conducted as per the following details:-

Principles of Training: 50 Marks
Professional conduct of training (online / offline): 50 Marks
Practical skills & methodology in training: 50 Marks
Competency Based Assessment (Includes Assignments, recordings etc): 50 Marks
Note: The overall average of the candidate should be above 50% for passing the examination

Renewal Policy

Renewal of certifications issued by PSEB is envisaged to monitor the continuous professional development of the certified trainer. The TOT certification (Basic & Advance) is to be renewed by the certificate holders every year. The fee as prescribed will be charged as per the existing norms. The certificate will be renewed as per the following criteria:-
1. On submission of relevant experience certificate from a valid institution as being working on the same professional domain.
OR
2. By appearing in the qualification test conducted by PSEB

Certification & Convocation

All the trainers who have successfully completed the qualifying exam of ToT (Basic) and ToT (Advance) will be awarded certification through convocation as per the region.
